Adios and have a great rest of the summer!
So I'm sure everyone has heard that GDOE is extending the beginning of the school year to the 22nd of August. YAY! We have been so busy this summer that I feel a little burned out, so after the 8th, I am officially finished with my school and I can have a rested 2 weeks. I hope everyone enjoyed this class as much as I did and take the strategies into your classroom, as I will be doing. I really like everyone's comraderie and comments as we strived to understand certain concepts and feelings towards certain subjects. Thank you everyone for helping me get through this session, it was a lot of work, but very much worth it! Take care everyone and God Bless! :)

I'm so glad we are going to have 2 weeks to focus on our classrooms and lesson plans! I didn't know how I was going to do it with orientation originally being the day before school officially started. Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteAlmost done!!!! Yay!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit of a treat to have an "extended" summer despite the sleepless nights and loooong days of class. But I have yet to compile lesson plans...looking forward to a real summer vacay - next year!!! See you on the 19th, fellow Shark ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, the extended summer is good for the new teachers. Just know that when school starts, we are all going to do great. In the mean time, lets enjoy our short break.
