Here we are in the final week of this class. I thought it would go so smoothly and everything would be done, and yet this is becoming so stressful for me. Had always been a reader, absolutely love books, and thought when signing up for the class that it would be another 'easy' course.
There have been so many theories about reading that I had never considered, strategies to use (some of which I already did and didn't realize that's what it was), and so many ways to teach what I had always thought was a natural thing for everyone- - to READ!
My hope is that I can get it all completed and uploaded to Live Text by Sat. How about you?
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.
The light at the end of the tunnel is nearing soon so just keep up the great work and we will be done in no time. I can relate to what you said about an easy class but I learned very quickly that it was far from that. I wish you the best of luck!
ReplyDeleteRemember our conversation, it's not as bad as you think. Just keep that thought in mind... and SMILE!
ReplyDeleteRounding past third base, and the home plate is within our reach!
ReplyDeleteYes Linda, I hope I can get it all done too. Good luck to us all.
We are one blog away from the finish line!
