Geri,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the snapshots! May you all have an enjoyable and meaningful professional development!
Best regards,
Dr. Rivera
Christine Jin is a graduate of UoG, and I am privileged to have made her acquaintance and that she wanted me to come work with her. She has been very gracious to always help whenever she can. When I asked if she could help the members of my Cohort, she immediately agreed and has even found clients for them to work with this week.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to my 'Ladies of Cohort 5" as well as to Ms. Jin!!
So, that means you are done then with your Professional Development, Geri? I am returning to the Agana Library on Saturday, but I am contacting the program manager who told me I don't need the police or court clearance because we will not be "volunteering" with anything. Instead we are "participating" in the event to fulfill a class requirement. My daughter also enjoyed the program, so if I don't go she'll kill me.
ReplyDeleteAgain thank you Linda for the lead. I think this will be a very interesting experience. Tomorrow I will be teaching 1-to-1. This will be my first experience teaching an ESL student. Katrina, one of the teachers at Christine's English School, has been instrumental in my preparation.
