Anyway, I took a look at the literacy strategies and found them to be effective in my personal reading experience. It can be implemented in students' personal journal writing and in class discussion. They definitely promote deeper comprehension and a higher level of critical thinking.
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.

July 16th Reflection
My group was able to complete our graffiti board, however, I feel a little behind with the other things we should be doing. It's overwhelming, but I know we're all doing our best to make the deadlines. It's also a matter of working around schedules. I'm not on campus anymore since my classes are online this session, so it's a little more challenging to plan out my days when I have other priorities to attend to. I think I just need to get more discussion time down with my group, and I'll feel a bit better.
