Thanks to my cohort and non-cohort friends

Whew! What a summer! I have enjoyed my summer classes, but at the same time, I can honestly say this is the most stressful summer I ever had. The classes were challenging with a lot of work, plus my two young boys have not been the most cooperative when it comes to my studies. But with the help and support of my husband and cohort (and non-cohort) friends, I am able to make it through. I think it is only fair that I say their names to give them the credit (but sorry, I am bad with last names). Thank you to: my husband (John), Arlene, Catherine, Michelle, Leah, Alvin, PJ, Renee, and Chanel! Thank you for your understanding of me bringing food to every single class; being outspoken when I felt I needed to be; and, being loud (and you having to listen to me!) and also, thank you for helping me with the courses when I needed the help. I really do appreciate it! Thanks and kudos to my husband for "holding down the fort" while I have been attending these classes. Without him, I definitely wouldn't be able to go to class.

I hope this cheers you up because we are heading for deeper waters as the next two weeks are closing two of our classes (SPED and Classroom Assessment). Let's work together to get these done and then we can have a less stressful start of a new school year!

  1. Thanks, this does cheer me up Kim, esp. knowing that I am now familiar or at least read a little about learning disabilities with SPED coming to a close. I wish it were a regular class I can sit down in and absorb b/c this whole speed reading thing is not enjoyable at all!
Good supportive husbands are the BEST, aren't they?! See you tomorrow!

  3. Thanks for the shout out Kim! I agree with you and Renee about husbands. My poor husband has been really great. When I get stressed out he lets me knock him around for a few minutes. Poor guy has so many bruises. haha Of course I'm talking in the metaphorical sense...sort of. haha
