What a day!

I did not get up early today. I had been up all night the night before and spent most of that day doing chores around the house, so I was exhausted when I hit the bed and was out like a light. Upon waking up, I get ready to go to class for Sanchez. His class starts at 12pm and lasts till 3pm. Right afterward, I join my cohort to make those graffiti boards, so I don't really get home till about 4:30pm. That is when I begin working on the forums for this class. Unfortunately, I need to stop about 5:30pm to go to the airport to pick up my mother who is flying home from her short vacation. The flight is delayed. At the airport, my four year old daughter spills her fruit punch on my white shorts in the middle of the Arrivals area causing a very big scene for all people standing around to enjoy. Ah, we gotta love them! I don't get home till about 7pm, where I resume working on the forums. I first had to struggle with LiveText so I can submit my Autobiography. I had issues getting in, and it took my far superior-in-technology wife to solve that problem for me. Then I had to drop my mother off at a meeting because her car does not work. In the end, I had only a few hours to finish up those forums. I got them done, but I'm slightly late in submitting this blog entry. It is about ten minutes after twelve.

And, on top of it all, its my wife's birthday today. Bless her soul, she understood, and let me get my work done. I will be using most of the day to be with me wife tomorrow.

  1. Well, Randall, you put my day to shame! Trust me, and here's hoping, one day you will look back on this day and chuckle softly. Happy Birthday to your wife, and yes, bless her for being understanding. You can always give her a spectacular birthday celebration on a different, less frazzled day. Still, I can't get my mind off the fruit punch on the white shorts. Just another day at the office, huh? Hang in there, the authorities on this say it gets better. --Melissa:)
