Today was a long day for majority of us, seeing that we are preparing to take our PRAXIS II. I am the first to admit that I feel truly overwhelmed and I have not felt so much pressure from school since my days of final exams everyday for a week. It is okay because this is a necessary step for us to take in order to get to that next level in our Career. For this class, I have found it challenging to be on my computer for hours but I must admit, I really enjoyed the reading and I have enjoyed working closer with my Cohort. When it is all said and done, I will be extremely proud of everyone and I will feel very accomplished.
Sincerely,
Angelo
Angelo, you guys are paving the way for Cohort 5, so go ahead and lie to us. Tell us it's a walk in the park, a breeze. I don't mind.
ReplyDeleteAlicia...I totally underestimated this adventure - thought it would be a piece a cake; boy was I wrong! But nevertheless, hang in there. It will seem like a walk in the park after graduation!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the stress point being reached and stretched, more than a bit by taking Praxis 2 prep classes (TWO OF THEM!) at the same time that I am doing this class and 3 others!! One is on hold, one has finished, and the amount of work for this class is NOT a piece of cake, nor easy as pie!!
ReplyDeleteForget the park, get back to the computer and post on forums, get to blogging, upload your assignments, and keep working on that next 5 page 'reflection' paper. :)
YES... we will be better teachers for it, I'm sure! However, this is not exactly how I saw myself enjoying my first summer living in Guam!
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow, don't get me wrong. I'm just trying to keep my nose above water, being the non-swimmer that I am! hahahaa
I can always tell which posts are yours when browsing the titles. Yours has the date in military format. That's the guard for you! haha I didn't do any homework this weekend. I actually left my apartment and felt the sunshine so I know I'll be paying for it this week.
