You know...the realization that I'm not superwoman came to light after our class on July 23. I am grateful for Cohort V Team B...you are inspiring and after I saw all the preliminary submissions, you have made me know that I can count on all of you. Wish were all going to be in the same school teaching next year...Can you imagine how awesome that would be.
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.

Yikes. This is the time you almost went to the hospital right?,... AND you still managed to turn in your draft to Nerissa.
ReplyDeleteYou're still a superwoman in my book.
Take care of yourself.
Yeah, I find myself at times wondering what it would have been like if my cohort and I were to all go teach at the same school. Cohort 3 is one of the most closely knit cohorts, and I am glad to be a part of it. We would have definitely helped each other out if we were on the same campus during our internship. We would already be familiar with each others' professionalism and know exactly how to work with each other while the other teachers will need to figure us out.
ReplyDeleteCatchy title, drew me in, and yes I think it would be absolutely awesome to teach with you all! We may be 100 pounds heavier after we teach 30 years together, but boy would we be a happy bunch.
