My group and I enjoyed putting the graffiti board together. Our graffiti board reflects on what we first thought about Chapter 1. On the board we have a symbol in the center that represents the link between America and Japan. The tree and waves represent Hawaii. The words coming out of the symbol are the many thoughts we had about the chapter. Overall, we enjoyed doing it. We learned many different perspectives. We left completing our graffiti board and with that having various understandings of the first couple of chapters. In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.

Nerissa,
ReplyDeleteWow! There's no doubt that all of you were actively engaged in the graffiti board activity! Keep up the great work!
Best regards,

Wow! I really like your artistic approach to your design. Done in a true "graffiti" style, it still has a really well balanced composition and feel. Love the way your American flag was done. Looks fantastic!
