I'm confused. Between this blog and Moodle I don't know what to work on. It doesn't help that the Tech. App. class has us doing blogs and livetext and livebinders and all kinds of stuff. I feel like I should go back to Maine and start chipping notes on stone tablets.

A lot of my classmates have experience with Hawaii and know where the story is set. I'd like to see it on Google Earth. I think it would help me. I've always been a visual kind of person and looking at maps and pictures makes e feel more familiar with the story. Recently I read When Christ And His Saints Slept, a story of England and Wales in the 13th Century. I had to go to the Internet to find a map of the area with the place names on it. I printed it and tucked it into the book for my reference. Currently I'm reading A Distant Mirror and I need to find a map of Europe in the 14th Century so I can "see" what's going on.

  1. Brett,

There are no assignments that need to be uploaded on July 9. When you see the icon of a hand holding a paper, then you know that an assignment must be submitted. However, keep in mind that you must post your replies for the required forum posts, which also require you to respond to at least 4-5 of your classmates' entries. The following are the 3 forums that you are expected to respond to:

    *Literacy Autobiography Forum
    *Interdisciplinary Brainstorming Forum
    *Professional Development Forum

In addition, you must review all the PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Word documents, links, etc. for that day, as it pertains to the July 9 topics. Plus, you must post your overall thoughts of the various online activities/topics you reviewed in our class blog at www.blogger.com (http://ed641summer2011.blogspot.com). I hope this helps. Let me know.

    Best regards,
    Dr. Rivera
