This has been a busy week for me. I'm glad I've finished and set aside the Literacy Autobiography and Under the Blood-Red Sun, and yet there are still many more things to be done.
My fellow cohorts and I has finally had a chance to meet the other day and today, and have cleared out which content area is whose and we worked on our graffiti boards. I'm quite confident we can all pull this off. We can do this!
To whom it may concern, I think we needed a little scaffolding because everybody is complaining and confused.
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.
Robito,
ReplyDeleteThe scaffolding is noted. If things need to adjusted to further accommodate the needs of your classmates with the understanding that quality literacy work will be produced, then I am in full support of the idea.
As you know, every activity in this class is aligned to specific standards, so it is necessary that we aim for TARGET to complete the requirements and essentially gain the knowledge built from such.
Kudos to you and your cohort for working diligently in completing the requirements! Good luck!
Best regards,
Dr. Rivera
Robito,
