This "first day of class" felt like any other first day - feeling anxious and confused, but at the same time full of anticipation of how this online class will pan out. I liked reading the introductions and overviews on the syllabus. The overviews in particular were interesting to read/skim through. It was a glimpse at what others were thinking, and it was a great relief to know that most of us felt the same way about certain things. I wonder if we're suppose to reply to those or do we start replying on Activity 1 and onward? Hmm...
Anyway, I've just started reading Under the Blood-Red Sun. If you haven't purchased a copy, Bestseller is selling them for 7.99$. I'm not sure about the UOG bookstore. Hopefully, I'll have something to enter into the forum later today. For now, sleep o,O
Christine,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you are already familiar with Moodle and Blogger. Be sure to help your fellow colleagues, if the need arises. Of course, I will also be there to assist every step of the way. With regards to replying, yes, you must respond to at least 4-5 entries in each of the forum posts listed. This allows for active online collaboration. Good luck, and enjoy reading your copy of Under the Blood Red Sun. It will certainly come in handy for your Interdisciplinary Unit!
Best regards,
Dr. Rivera
Hey Christine!
ReplyDeleteI started the book yesterday too and I think it's going to be a very interesting read. I like the author's writing style because it's easily accessible. I have two more chapters to go before posting in the Moodle Forum. See you there!
