I'm almost finished my literacy autobiography and I must say it's been nice and yet sad going down memory lane again. I've had rough times in the past and I'm grateful I've made it through. My experiences from the past are what shaped me today.
As for the Interdisciplinary Unit of Study, I've taken a look at the powerpoint and I must say I'm intimidated. The teachers have done a great job. I'm excited to put all my effort into this and hopefully it turns out great.
I've attended a few literacy and reading related events this summer. I think these events are good for the children, so that they may further improve their literacy skills during the summer.
I'm still quite confused about the Moodle Forum, but I'm getting the hang of it.
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.
I agree with you on all the confusion. I also feel intimidated as well. It is nice to know that after everything in the past we find ourselves here today, still learning and thinking positive.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we were all a bit overwhelmed, but it is great to know that we are getting the hang of it. Good jobs guys!
