This was fun! I really had to dig and flip through the pages to find nuggets of symblosim, while Kim dug from her bag of chips and used her Japanese ancestry to pull out authentic lingo and to write some Kanji.
I think we found all the objects mentioned in the first chapter and used it in a way that spoke for itself. This is an effective way to get the students to dig deep and come up with their own interpretations. And it's great that it allows for a point of view to be analyzed by all.
Excellent, Arlene! Your cohort created a graffiti board masterpiece! Keep up the great work!

This really was fun! I'm happy we had a chance to do it because it makes it easier for us to use it in our classrooms.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and artistic, guys!
ReplyDeleteYou guys did a great job! Spontaneity can really spark creativity. I especially like the yellow paper. It makes the art jump off the page.
