I am glad that we had only one forum to respond to on Saturday. Mostly because I was going to the PLT practice that same day. I was able to prepare that in advance and focus mostly on the response comments on that day. But, when I look ahead at everything we have to do, I can't help but feel overwhelmed. The work alone is pretty hefty, but coupled with what we need to do in our other classes, I see myself losing a lot of sleep and barely spending any time with my family.
But, I know it will all pay off in the end, and, with the support of this cohort, I can pull through the tougher times. Just take one step at a time. I can, at least, say that things are pretty interesting in my life right now. The fast paced work, even out of the classroom, is rather invigorating, but I will look forward to the day I can relax again. I miss my video games. Heh heh!
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.
Rand,
ReplyDeleteIn the short time we've had in our online class, you've increased your knowledge on various literacy strategies that you can use to empower your students. Try your best, and indeed, it will be worth it in the end!
Best regards,
Dr. Rivera
It's funny how we were just talking about this earlier today. Although we have not had "Class Time", I have learned so much from this course and even though I am teaching health, I will definitely be incorporating these strategies when the opportunity presents itself.
