The book only took 5 hours to read, the entire thing
I really enjoyed the book, the ending was not as happy or thrilling as I would have liked for it to be, as a matter of fact I can appreciate how open it is to writing a continuation of this book. My daughters were funny, they came up to me and I told them they should read the book especially when they would come up to me when I was laughing. I have some ideas on how I can put the interdisciplinary unit together, it will be fun...

My daughter just finished the first chapter, and she asked sooo many questions, good for middle school learners...I'm hoping to see what she thinks when she's done...

It is such a priceless experience to be able to share your reading material with your children. I think it not only enables parents to strengthen their bonds with their children, but it also helps children express their individuality through their thoughts and ideas about the reading material. Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteUpdate on Madison, she had soo many questions about some of the japanese words and the why the grandfather was waving the flag and why the grandson was so upset. She said: "all he was doing was washing his flag!" We'll see what she comes up with after she gets past the part where they bury it under the house.
