I am not going to lie, this week was absolutely challenging! But, it was a good stressful feeling that, although I do not want to last for more than a month, I know I will be able to stick it out for the rest of this month. Dr. Rivera is definitely doing her best to give us the support we need to complete this course and she has helped me gain confidene through her positive comments and quick responses. So we should all work together to make sure we get through this.
The book is interesting to read-it helps that it is directly related to me and I can visualize so many parts of the book. I have not read too much, just a little past the 5th chapter, but I can see something is stirring in Billy's mind and it is beginning to worry me. I hope that Tomi and his friendship work out. For those who have read the book, please try not to post too much information that will give away the ending. I am really looking forward to getting more into this book. Thanks everyone for taking the time to read my blog and I look forward to hearing your comments, thoughts, and ideas!
In this course, educators will learn how to support the needs of adolescent and young adults, helping them develop into confident, and independent readers and writers. Focus will be on the improvement of literacy skills through meaningful, constructive engagements in reading and writing.
Kimberly,
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I want each and everyone of you to excel in this course, as challenging as it is. With much diligence and determination, you will succeed!
Best regards,
Dr. Rivera
